AIX 7, ProbeVue, and Server Consolidation On Tap for NY Metro POWER AIX & Linux Users Group Meeting Thursday

The New York Metro POWER AIX & Linux Users Group is gearing up for a must-attend meeting this week: Thursday, June 24, at 590 Madison Avenue, NYC in the IBM Building. The topics are AIX 7, ProbeVue, and server consolidation on Power Systems.

  • Jay Kruemcke, IBM's manager of AIX, will be giving a special presentation on IBM's upcoming AIX 7.
  • William Favorite will be giving a presentation on IBM's ProbeVue. ProbeVue is IBM's implementation of a lightweight dynamic tracing environment.
  • Ken Milberg will be giving a presentation on Server Consolidation tools for Power Systems.

Plus, the group will also have a special catered dinner for you and a special grand-prize.
