Migrating ISV Solutions from Sun to Power

IBM has an interesting web resource set up to guide ISVs who are looking to migrate their Sun-based solutions to run on IBM Power Systems. It's part of IBM's PartnerWorld Business Partner program, of course.

The page offers guides for migrating from Solaris on Sun SPARC to AIX, as well as migrating Linux on Sun x86 or SPARC to Linux on POWER.

ISVs can take advantage of IBM's Rapid Port Services, which are usually provided at no cost, as well as more than 40 IBM Innovation Centers worldwide that provide ISV support for development and testing activities, technical expertise, and training opportunities.
