The latter provides a handy table of AIX Technology Level (TL) fix support release dates and end of availability. Basically, IBM is now offering three years of new fix support for each TL, and to ease the burden on administrators, IBM will only have one TL update per year for each version of AIX -- but service packs for TLs will still be released several times each year.]]></description>
